· It is UNESCO World Heritage Site. ·It covers an area of 122,000 square km ·It is a rain forest covered mountains, spectacular limestone pinnacles, cave passages, deeply-incised canyons and Wild River. ·It has at least 200 species of tree per hectare. ·Height above sea level changes from 27m on the floodplains to 2,377m at Mulu Summit. ·The interior can be access by air, river and trekking. ·The world largest cave passage is Deer Cave. ·Mulu Sarawak Chamber is the world largest cave chamber. ·Clear Water River cave is the longest river cave system in South East Asia. ·Deer cave house millions of bats that form into a spiral Dragon in the evening in search for food. ·The world most poisonous tree Antiaris Toxicaria is close to Deer cave. ·The world biggest flower Rafflesia species is along the Head Hunter's trail. ·The worst smelling plant related to Amorphophallus species is found at Melinau's trail.
